Ken is a Partner & Wealth Management Advisor with NFG Financial at Northwestern Mutual who started his financial advisor career with R.W. Baird and Company in 1985, prior to joining Northwestern Mutual in 2003. Before his career as a Wealth Management Advisor, Ken practiced business law with his J.D. degree from Syracuse University. He felt the need for a career he was passionate about, which included helping people plan for their financial future. Those are the reasons he was drawn to Northwestern Mutual. Ken was confident that with his broad educational background, hard work, and his people skills, he could make a career change work. Ken focuses on building long-term relationships based on integrity, knowledge, and commitment.
Along with his 1982 law degree, Ken has a Bachelor of Arts degree, in Risk and Insurance Management, from Michigan State University making him a lifelong passionate Spartan! He has been married to his wife, Rosalyn, since 1982. They have two adult daughters, Natalie and Laine and is a proud “Pop-Pop” to his three grandchildren, Landon, Colt & Jade.
In his free time, Ken enjoys scuba diving, reading, Chicago theater, live music, golf, and baseball. He also enjoys spending time at his condo in Arizona as much as possible, where his three grandchildren reside. Ken is a current member, and past president, of the Executives Guild and Trustee of the Buffalo Grove Police Pension Board, for over 15 years.
